We use these for everything from our acoustic bass down to our ukuleles. I know there is a smaller model available for ukes, violins, etc.; we haven't yet ordered those, but these will work on smaller instruments if one doesn't extend the feet to their maximum width. They're gentle on the instruments, and the grippy material keeps them secure.

Functions great for my acoustic guitar. Portable, lightweight, relatively durable but good for the price and most of all my guitar DOESN't easily topple over when I use this stand. The rubber support at the back and base of the stand gives a nice grip so the acoustic guitar stays planted unto the stand and doesn't fall down.

I would recommend this product specifically for acoustic guitars because a bass or electric guitar may be too heavy but it still can support it..

I've used guitar stands for years - onstage, at home - and always the metal, padded kind with the neck support. They're OK, if used with care (don't knock into them, don't pull a cord across them, don't mind their overall awkward design, etc.). This stand has no neck support, but its stability is absolutely great - and it turns out any neck-support requirement in a stand may be overrated, at least for my application (classical and other acoustic guitars). There is sufficient padding at all strategic points to protect the guitar finish (not advocating, however, long-term exposure, simply because I generally store guitars long-term in their cases). Plus .. this is a very nifty design: Once you figure out how to open and close it (it's clever!), you will feel as some of us do when watching "How It's Made": who the heck thought of this?! It's so functional and folds to a super-compact size. Well deserving of five stars.

This is not the bombproof stand for stage work or areas where I fear for my pretty acoustic guitar's stability. It's not heavy enough to guarantee the guitar will not fall over if bumped. This *is* the stand I want for traveling with my guitar to low-key places�places where I just need to stand my guitar in a corner so I can grab it and play when I want to. I also use this stand around the house in various rooms when I want to practice but don't feel like lugging my heavier stand from room to room. This stand folds up cleverly into a compact unit that fits into my bag and weighs about nuthin'. This is just what I've been looking for for a travel stand.

I bought this stand for my daughter who is just beginning guitar. This stand is perfect for her. It is small enough that it does not take up much space in her room. It fits her child sized guitar perfectly. It is very adjustable, so I was curious to see how other guitars fit. I put my husband's twelve string in it and it fit securely. I then tried the electric guitar, and the violin. This stand held them all safe and sound.

This is a nice sturdy guitar stand if you are looking for one for your home or it folds up nicely for travel. It is fantastic for wood floors as with the rubber grips on the bottom it won't slide. It also has rubber strips on the back so you don't have to worry about scratches to the back if your guitar. I have a Yamaha Acoustic guitar and it fits nice and snug on this stand. I returned a more expensive stand as it was missing a piece and I am so glad I got this stand instead. Fantastic little stand with good sturdy protection for your guitar. I can't say how it is for an electric guitar, but great for an acoustic!!!! Love it!!!!!

Got this a while back and finally started using it. I read some negative reviews, but don't really understand them. I do use mine on carpet, but have also tried it on a perfectly flat surface and it's even more stable. I knocked it about on both surfaces just to check it and it works just fine. No problems, glad I got it.

Light, portable guitar stand, which you can easily stuff into a good soft gig bag. Nice mechanism to lock A-frame legs opened to prevent stand from pitching or folding with a guitar on it. All plastic though. This is the trade-off for a lightweight stand. Plastic appears sturdy enough. Additional gigs will confirm ruggedness. Note: stand cannot accommodate a guitar with a straight instrument cable plugged-in. Not enough clearance from the ground. However, it appears to accommodate a guitar with a right angle instrument cable attached. Next model design should consider modification to hold a guitar with an instrument cable attached. Still,Hola! has produced a very decent product.

The Best thing i liked about this stand is that it doesn't looks shabby like the other metallic wire frame of stand which are conventional. Its Plastic and very light. Material might seem cheap but its good to hold a dreadnought Acoustic Guitar easy. I even use sometime to hold my bass and it can be adjusted to hold a bass guitar firmly.

I love this little stand so much! It has a very clean design that doesn't distract from the beauty of the instrument. I bought this for my baritone ukelele to carry to gigs, and it's perfect for that. Incredibly lightweight and portable, but still sturdy enough that I don't have to worry about my uke or even the guitars that we occasionally use it for. We bought a more traditional stand for our bass thinking that it was too heavy for one like this, but I think we'd have been just as well off to get two of these. Can't recommend this one enough!

Got my acoustic out of the basement since I was done decorating my new office. Needed something to store it on when I am not playing it. This definitely fits the bill. And it doesn't make indentation marks on the guitar like some other stands I have seen. Glad I chose to go with this one! Can't beat it for the price point!

Perfect on part of the seller. The item was just as described. I did not expect any thing different. If you want a strong "road worthy" guitar stand you may want to keep looking. This stand is great for "gentle" gig situations and home use that will be away from excited kids and pets. It is excellent for what I intend it for. I will buy another.

I wanted a stand to keep my very old guitar on instead of putting it in the case all the time after practicing. So I ordered this one and it's great for just setting it on the stand and it's out of the way. My husband thought it was a good idea and wanted one for his old guitar. So I bought another one for his. They are adjustable and they can fold up and carry away if we need to. We are both pleased with the purchases.

t folds up very neatly and is very light weight. It is quite stable and has very little flex. (I put a heavy steel bodied resonator guitar on it and couldn't duplicate the flex that was shown in one review.) Looks like it will be very good for traveling.

I use this to hold one of my ukulele's while I play the other one. It's very portable and can accommodate guitar size instruments to the soprano ukulele, which is very small. Its lightweight and adjustable. It is as quality as you can get for being made of plastic. It has soft rubber skids which is the only thing that touched the instrument. I also use it to hold music on the table top when I'm not using it to hold one of my ukuleles or guitars. It seems very stable and has been bumped a couple times while holding my uke... it held and didn't tobble... of course it can be knocked over if bumped hard enough, but casual bumps of little force will not knock it over. I have other stands, but they are not as portable.

Got the big one for my acoustic guitar, and the small one for my uke. They are inexpensive, fold up small for road trips and do the job just fine. Buy one (or two) you'll like it! (added later...) This was my second order for these stands. They're compact, light weight and work great. I also have the small one for my fiddle and uke. Good stuff! Not built for electric guitars or basses however. The lower portion is wide enough for an acoustic guitar but too wide for a bass or solid body electric.

This product works great as a portable guitar stand. It�s extremely light weight when folded up and fits easily in my guitar bag or even my murse/man purse. When it�s opened up, it�s pretty sturdy as well. An added perk is that Hola! Music really provides superb customer service. When I had questions about the product, I was able to email the seller and they would get back to me within the day, max (usually heard back within a few hours), and made sure all my issues were addressed.

I need to order another of these if I continue playing my guitar. I gave this stand away to a friend when traveling in Africa last year because I knew he had no way of ever getting one. I love the compact size, and weight of it. It balances your guitar perfectly without hogging space. Great stands; perfect for taking to gigs. I switch between mandolin and acoustic guitar when I play, and both of my instruments fit in these items. You might want to take a place mat or something to put under them if you have a smaller instrument, as there is not much clearance from the ground.

This is perfect for what I needed. It's very, very lightweight so if you're looking for something that you wouldn't be able to slide if you bumped it, this probably isn't it - but I mostly bought it to just hold a guitar on my fireplace hearth so it works great for that!

You have just simply got to try this little guitar stand. It folds up so small, and yet remains very stable in use. Adjustable in a snap, but if you even forget that, it will grip your instrument better than a metal stand. Anything can be knocked over, but this really works better than you might believe. Goood !
